These Terms govern your use of GruKit, the iPhone and iPad toolkit for vinyl DJs: Audio Finder song identification, Barcode Scanner Discogs lookups, Turntable Health, Tap to Tempo, Vibration Shield, Flight Bag, and the in-app guides.
License
Granulab grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use GruKit for personal and professional DJ use in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store rules.
Estimates and Measurements
Song matches, Discogs prices, turntable speed readings, tempo and vibration measurements, and Flight Bag weight estimates are guidance only. Their accuracy depends on your device, its sensors, audio quality, lighting, and third-party data. Always confirm baggage allowances with your airline and have important equipment checked by a qualified technician.
Discogs and Third-Party Services
GruKit uses Apple ShazamKit to identify songs and the Discogs API to show releases and prices. Release data, prices, links, media, and availability come from those providers and are controlled by them, not by Granulab.
Device Permissions
GruKit uses the microphone, camera, motion sensors, and notifications only when you enable the features that need them, such as Audio Finder, Barcode Scanner, Turntable Health, Vibration Shield, and alerts. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
No Subscriptions or In-App Purchases
GruKit does not currently offer subscriptions or in-app purchases. If paid features are added in a future version, any purchase terms will be updated before those features are offered.
Changes to GruKit
We may add, change, or remove features. Earlier versions of GruKit included record collection management; those features have been removed, and the related data is handled as described in the GruKit Privacy Policy.
Account Deletion
You can delete your GruKit account in the app or by following the instructions at /grukit/account-deletion.
Privacy
GruKit's data practices are described in the GruKit Privacy Policy.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse GruKit, bypass security controls, attempt unauthorized access to services, violate Discogs or other third-party terms, overload APIs, reverse engineer restricted components, or use the app to infringe the rights of others.
Disclaimer and Liability
GruKit is provided on an "as is" basis to the extent permitted by law. Granulab does not guarantee that every song match, barcode lookup, price, measurement, estimate, or third-party link will be available, accurate, or error-free. Granulab is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including baggage fees or equipment issues.
